Martha is a small ladybug, who lives in a small home, and bakes delicious small cakes. Everything about her is small… however at night, when Martha goes to sleep in her little bed, tucked under her little blankets, cuddled up with her little head on her little pillow, Martha dreams of BIG THINGS. She dreams of the biggest animals to ever walk the Earth. Martha dreams of dinosaurs! Join Martha as she plays with Velociraptors, swims with the Mosasaur, roars with the mighty Tyrannosaurus Rex, and has big fun with more prehistoric giants. She knows that no matter how small you are, you can always dream big.

Note From the Author Martha Dreams of Dinosaurs is my first children's book, but certainly not my last. I've been an artist of one kind or another all my life. I also love children, especially my nieces and nephews, and was lucky enough to be a nanny to two of them. The inspiration behind Martha Dreams of Dinosaurs was a drawing/stamping art project my nephew and I did. If you look very closely, you can see a tiny little lady bug on the right side, crawling up a long piece of grass. Her friend Stewart is in the shorter grass. As we drew and stamped I told a story of what Martha was seeing and it morphed into a great book about small and big, little and large, tiny and tremendous.
